Abstract
The integration of technology into secondary school classrooms has fundamentally reshaped the landscape of education, necessitating a redefinition of classroom management practices. Traditional approaches, rooted in physical presence and behavioral correction, are increasingly inadequate in addressing the complexities of digitally integrated environments. This study synthesizes interdisciplinary perspectives from education, psychology, and technology to explore the importance, challenges, and strategies of managing digital classrooms. Key factors include technological fluency, pedagogical innovation, and socio-emotional learning (SEL), which collectively influence student engagement, discipline, and academic outcomes. The research highlights challenges such as device misuse, digital divides, and teacher preparedness, proposing strategies like SEL integration, policy reform, and advanced teacher training. Drawing on surveys, case studies, and mixed-method research, this study advocates for systemic changes to foster equitable, engaging, and disciplined digital learning environments. Policy recommendations emphasize universal digital access, longitudinal research on mental health impacts, and adaptive learning technologies. This comprehensive analysis underscores the need for a collective reimagining of classroom management to meet the demands of 21st-century education.
