Abstract
The article reflects Baltis and Balti dialect. Balti people live in the north of Pakistan known as Baltistan. Baltistan is a region where the majority of people belong to Balti caste. I shall try to put some light on the socio-cultural background of Balti people as well. Balti language belongs to Sino Tibetan language family and is spoken in Baltistan, Ladakh, Kargil, Nepal and Bhutan.
The article will help the readers to know about Baltistan and Balti language.
