An Introduction to Tafsir Al Kashif by Shekh Jawad Mughnia, Methodology and Style

Abstract
The first source of Islamic knowledge is the Holy Quran. Islamic laws and regulations are obtained from it. For this purpose, it is needed to interpret and explain the Holy Book, so one can acquire Islamic rules and regulations. For the same purpose, scholars and intellectuals have written various exegeses. One of the exegeses of the Holy Book is also called Tafsir Al-Kashif which was written by Sheikh Jawad Mughniya and it consists of seven volumes. This exegesis is in Arabic which is an eloquent language and it has also been translated into Urdu. This article contains a research review of the method and style of this commentary. In this article introductory discussions have been given in which the life circumstances of the commentator and Tafsir Al-Kashif have been given a brief introduction, the manner and method of Tafsir Al-Kashif has been narrated in Tafsir Bil-Masoor, in which Tafsir-ul-Quran with Quran, with Ahadith, Tafsir-ul-Quran with the sayings of Aima-e-Athaar (as) and Tafsir-ul-Quran with the sayings of Sahaba and Tabaeen and Israelyiat are included, the style and manner of Tafsir Al-Kashif has been mentioned in the light of Tafsir Bidd-Dirayah in which Tafsir-ul-Quran concerning Arabic language, jurisprudential discussions, Fiqhi discussions, discussions of Quranic sciences and theological discussions are included. At last, described the status of this exegesis in which critical and appreciation aspects along with references are described.
